The Detroit Zoo

With its’ beginnings in the late 1800’s, the Detroit Zoo has been one of the most popular tourist attractions the city has to offer. On it’s official opening day in 1928, 150,000 people visited the zoo. It quickly became an icon just like the Tigers Stadium, and the Fox Theatre. Below are two parts to a film, called Keeper of Our Future, describing the Zoo’s history, influence, and mission.
